Our Beliefs

We believe in a God that is powerful, loving and just. Everything that exists is His creation, including us! He is not a distant deity, but a personal, loving Father. He desires relationship with His creation. But because of our wrongdoing (our sin), we have been separated from right relationship with our heavenly Father.

This is not where the story ends.

Because of His great love for us, God became fully man to save us from eternal death. We believe that Jesus is our savior, God in the flesh, sent to earth to save us by grace through faith. The free gift of God. We believe that if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that He is God, we will be saved and restored to Him.

This changes everything for us.

When we accept the free gift, we are now given a purpose. Jesus says to His followers, “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20). Our desire is to share the good news of Jesus wherever we go.

JESUS

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth. As part of God’s universal church, we seek to help people know and obey Jesus Christ, the living Son of God, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

SALVATION

Salvation is God’s deliverance of people from His wrath through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All of mankind has rebelled against God and is condemned to eternal death and separation from Him. Jesus, God’s Son, was sent to die in the place of condemned sinners to make it possible for them to be brought back into a right relationship with their Creator. Through faith in Jesus, who was raised from the dead, people can experience God’s forgiveness and have hope of eternal life with Him.
