WELCOME WEEK AT MIZZOU

belonging - memories - fun

During the week before school begins at the University Of Missouri, incoming students experience an entire week full of activities and lots of fun. As a campus ministry partnered with the University, we have a unique opportunity to be one of many ways that students are able to find genuine friendship and belonging within their first few days on campus. We partner alongside Mizzou in helping students move into their dorms, and also host events the entire week; some crazy (Sasquatch hunt), and some necessary (free donuts and coffee). With our big Salt Company tent setup across from the Student Center, we encourage students to stop by, get to know us, and be invited into real, authentic, community.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

bible study - accountability - friendship

Our desire is for authentic relationships, genuine connection, accountability, and honest conversations about the Bible to take place within our city. Community groups are same gender, led by student leaders, and meet on and off campus weekly.

RETREATS AND CONFERENCES

travel - community - depth

Throughout the school year, Salt Company likes to go on weekend trips to grow closer to God, build relationships, and have fun. In the fall, we have Fall Retreat, where you can deepen your faith with other students. In the spring, we attend The Salt Company Conference with thousands of students from campus ministries in The Salt Network to celebrate and worship God together. We also take a trip during spring break to learn about church planting and go on other weekend trips to share the gospel and grow in our faith.

LEADERSHIP

service - discipleship - growth

The Salt Company is powered by students who want to help others know, love, and follow Jesus. Leadership is an important part of growing as a disciple. Students can connect with each other in smaller groups and learn how to disciple others while being discipled themselves. Our aim is to prepare our students to share the Gospel wherever they go after college.
